Do you have the controls on the steering wheel? With the DIC, you can set how you want the locks to behave from about 4 different settings. If you don't have the DIC, I know there is a way to change it by rubbing your head clockwise 4 times then 3 times counter clockwise then turn the key off and on several times in a row. You can do it, but look in the owners manual on how to change it without the DIC.

I do not have the DIC and they only give me 2 option in the manual they lock when youi put the truck in gear or when the truck gets over 8mph I want to turn off both options

Critter81 you should make a signature. I'll assume you have an 05 though because before that there were more options in the manual. So far nobody has posted a way on the 05s to make them not auto lock. You could try the manual lock setting procedure if you can find a manual from an older truck or if someone wants to type the entire thing out. Hopefully someone figures it out though, because that's a bunch of crap. When I use my truck around the farm I go a ways, then stop and get out, then maybe move some more. There's no damn reason for it to cycle the locks constantly. That would drive me nuts, makes me glad I got an 04...

I wonder what it does on a 2005 with the ZF six speed? Just one option for lock when at 8 mph? That would suck even more with the manual I suppose.
