My 4x4 Dually came without the 4X4 emblems (stickers) on the fenders. WHY? Are they high?

I have removed them with lacquer thinner and scraper before, but that was for a bed that was about to be refinished. Is there a way to remove them and preserve them well enought to be reused on another vehicle? My neighbor says he wants them for his truck if I take them off. He wants them free. I told him they probably won't be any good anymore, but he wants to try. I think he is planning on putting them on an old atv he just replaced the body on. You could probably design your own and they would make it. On my passsenger side, they put my Duramax Diesel and 2500HD emblems on crooked. I wonder if they can be reused?
