My 4x4 Dually came without the 4X4 emblems (stickers) on the fenders. WHY? Are they high?

I'm not a big fan of those stickers myself. I'll send you mine after I pull them off.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Wink.gif

I thought GM put those stickers on to weed out the retarded people from buying our trucks(math).......I seen a truck that said 16 in that spot once.....I bet people were like WTF is 16.

What would be the best method to remove the 4x4 stickers without damaging the paint/clearcoat? I have removed them with lacquer thinner and scraper before, but that was for a bed that was about to be refinished. Is there a way to remove them and preserve them well enought to be reused on another vehicle? My neighbor says he wants them for his truck if I take them off. I told him I didn't know if they were reusable, but I would try to find out.

Put a little heat on them with a hair dryer. They'll peal right off.

Your neighbor can probably get them from the dealer for cheap.

Thanks Diesel-N-Dust & Wickedsprint, but I don't think he wants them cheap. He wants them free. I told him they probably won't be any good anymore, but he wants to try. I think he is planning on putting them on an old atv he just replaced the body on.

You don't even need heat. Just lift the corner with your fingernail and peel them off.

JEBar, any modern sign shop should be able to fix you right up. You could probably design your own and they would make it.

On my passsenger side, they put my Duramax Diesel and 2500HD emblems on crooked. I wonder if they can be reused? Looks like they would peel right off with heat gun. It is really starting to bug me, looks like hell being crooked like that.

JEBar, I'm looking for 6x6 emblems also. I have a friend at work that can make them up in about any color and style. Just need to pick the font to use. I'm looking thru www.dafont.com (http://www.dafont.com) If we want the same thing I'm sure I can get them made inexpensively. email me at silva455@hotmail.com if you want to discuss this more.
