I wanna put a sub in my 95 regular cab, but I don't want to have to move my seat forward to fit it. I have a 12" in my old '83 but had to move the seat. I'm thinking I'll probably go with a 10" in this one to help it fit better. Anybody else with a regular cab have a sub behind the seat? If so what's your setup?

Have a 10" behind each seat and my seats are all the way back. I don't if there is any difference seeing there is 10 years between our trucks. Both sides of my truck run down hill toward the bottom of the door so I mounted the boxes to a piece of plywood with carpet to keep them straight and secure and mounted the amp to the board as well

Thanks guys. I thought about a bazooka tube but have never actually heard one. lawdog, did you just use one of the regular truck boxes that you can buy or did you use something different. I'll have to do some measuring cause I really don't wanna have to move my seat.

I just used the boxes the audio dude had which looked just like regular boxes. The only thing I had to do was to remove the jack, jack handle and bracket but no problem.

I ordered a shallow mount rockford 10" today and and a 325 watt rockford amp. The shallow sub needs only between 3" and 4" of mounting depth. Only problem is with a really small box it may not sound the greatest. Not sure if I should us a sealed or ported box. Any ideas there?

sealed...
check my garage. got an audiobahn 10" that is almost 7" deep with about 3/4" of throw.... managed to make it fit between the seats (bucket, not a bench)..... its bigger than is needed for a truck this size but i got it for free :D ...
bro said 2000+ watts peak, something like 1100 rms, (whatever the **** that means) and i only run it about 1/3 of the way up. too much bass above that. smaller sub would sound just fine in a reg cab and be easier to fit....
