Which one would you choose? I'm looking for a new exhaust and don't want any interior drone! I also want it to sound good but not annoying. I know everyones opinion differs, but I once had flowmasters on a Z71 and don't want to replicate that sound again. Also, what vendor on this site will give the best price on either of these systems? Thanks.

I like my banks it is a little louder than stock at highway speeds in the cab but sounds good outside.

I prefer MBRP. Nice deep throaty tone. I'm on my second truck with MBRP. My 04 I ran a 4" turbo back with no cat. My 07 I run a 4" cat back. Excellent sounding system and not notch quality.

take a look at mbrp or magnaflow i think these are the top two brands out there. Banks is a great kit but way overpriced in my opinion

i think you would like the MBRP, it sounds great, with now overpowering sound in the cab. and it is cheaper than Banks. Not that Banks is bad, cuz they make realy good stuff, just there exhaust is over priced.

My buddy has the banks dual monster exhaust on his truck. It sounds awesome. Some day that is the system I want. Need to save up the cash. Its sounds great outside, but not that much noise inside the cab. Plus the tips look really cool.

IMO, I would buy the one that sounds the best outside and not worry about interior noise. If you come to find it's too loud inside, it's just an excuse to put a layer of sound deadener all over the cab/doors/firewall and really quiet it down.

i like my banks, easy install. put mbrp on wifes EX and not as professional imo, and does not sound as nice. but they are also 2 diff motors. u will be happy with anything than stock.

I have the Silverline 304ss. I bought it because it is 304. 409 looks like rusted crap after a winter in the Northeast. My 304 still looks great after 2 salt filled winters.

Banks is way over priced and I had the muffler fall apart on the Banks I had on the '04 Ford and then on my '05 Ford (replaced it with MBRP). Total combined was about 30,000 miles. I have an MBRP on my LBZ and it sounds good and the price was right IMO.

We can get you in a full stainless system for $359 shipped. MBRp will be a around $100 more.

Ok, since everyone seems pretty positive about the MBRP, I'm leaning that way. Is the MBRP system easy to install? Does it come with a tip? What is the reason in going with aluminized, T-304 or T-409? Thanks in advance.

Depends on where you live and whether you just want an exhaust or you're creating a show truck. Aluminized will die quickly from salt in the "Great White North". 409 stainless will get some surface rust but should last you a long time basically the same material as your stock exhaust. 304 should keep a nice finish for life. I live in PA and went with the 409 as I have on all my trucks and I've had no problems with any of them. The 409 has good durability at a nice price.

MBRP is very easy to instal with simple hand tools. All of the systems include a tip. I suggest going with one of the stainless kits for the lifetime warranty. Feel free to give us a call with any questions you may have.

I have had both MBPR and Magnaflow, and on my truck, the Magnaflow fit better and had a bit less drone inside the truck. Both sounded about the same from the outside. Magnaflow gets my vote hands down.
