How many different parameters can you log at once when you're hooked to your laptop?

I think I've got around 24 selected and monitoring. Though some PID's dont play well with others, like if i log oil pressure my speedometer doesnt read, and if i log fuel temperature or balance rates RPM/speedo and timing go nutty...

yep if i try to log more then like 10 at a time it gets a little wacked out balanc erates take alot of data so i alwyas log those by them selves

Thanks Guys!! I'll have to play with it a little. I was wanting 27.:(

26 channels is the max if you want any accuracy IIRC its channels and NOT pids that we need to worry about 26 pids selectd could be as many as 30+ channels

Strange about the fuel temp......Ive never had a issue with that and i always log fuel temp.I wonder why you have issues?

and as for balance rates if i dont log RPM with it,It doesnt work
i also log ECT when checking balance rates

Sure man, I dont think its the NUMBER of PIDs you log, I think it's how they interact with one another. You may be able to get 27 depending on what they are...

there is ways around it:) learn to log voltages then its only one channel

Always look to the right and see how many channels the PID has
some pids need 4 channels

This is what it shows me.

Selected pids: 27

Selected channels: 48 of 96

scan mode: Dynamic

PIDs: 27 (pri 1:22, 2:0, 3:5)

Channels: 48 (pri 1:36/36, 2:6/6, 3:6/6)

Class 2 is too slow to log anything more than that. LB7's and LLY's are pretty limited as to what can be logged at once.

LBZ's are really fast! First time I logged my buddy's LBZ my mouth dropped

It did do 26 pids. Still having pryo logging problems though.

My pegasus pyro doesnt like to come on at odd times, if i switch from position 1 to position 2 or vice versa it comes alive... go figure..?
The Autometer Pyro is always perfect...Either position

Rick if you posted you selected PIDs i bet we could clean it up and get more accurate data

Jason......now that you have been logging EGTs, what is working best?

Well the autometer is WAY more reliable and much faster responding than the pegasus unfortunately. I have both and the autometer is the one i always want but then i lose my gauge... LOL.
IT's a certain autometer probe, for the ultralite II series gauges, the ultralite I's did NOT work.
If you want, i have a log of the autometer and the pegasus plugged in at the same time and you can see what i mean.
