I sure didn't think it would be this easy to limp.
05 lly with 8" fabtech lift and 355/60/20 nittos Predator has been on for 250 miles. Cruising down the interstate at 65 and accelerate to pass another truck. Speedo hit about 70 and it suddenly..... well you all know so there's no reason to get to detailed.
So for my ? Could I have a weaker than normal trans? or could the 37" tires make the trans easier to limp?

The tires won't help. Drop it down to 65hp level or get a trans upgrade :(

I will be upgrading the trans ASAP, I just didn't think the trans would be that easy to limp.
The 85hp setting on the predator is :D but I wanna use the :eek: setting!

I had a VA 230 on my stock ally and did'nt limp it. Some guys limp with 90hp, I did'nt take any chances and went suncoast stage v. Now I never worry about it.:)
