I have had a funny problem with the truck having no power above 2000 RPM's and actually downshifts when you try to go above that speed. I am thinking it is some kind of protection mode for the high pressure injection pump, but I'm open to anything.


On another note, I have also experienced at least 4 injectors failing at a time, which gives me a very funny sounding truck with no power whatsoever.

This sounds like what was happening to another member with a C4500 truck.

Just wanted to see if I was alone or not.

sounds like an extreme case of "limp mode" to me...

do a search for limp mode and you will more info.. here is one thread that is similar to your issue.
