So I am an old oiler guy (look at my sig) so I dont really know much about the new emissions stuff. So my dad will be in the market for a diesel pickup by the time these guys come on out and my question is if he were to cut the exhuast off and run a STRAIGHT exhuast with a cold air intake will that throw any codes or simply make the truck not run right??? I have heard of people having trouble running straight exhaust with these newer engines. Keep me informed. Thanks

a lot of people have removed their exhauts on the lmm with no problems. all you need is a tune that tells the truck that it does not have the dpf :)

I have a feeling this next generation engines will be harder to remove emissions equipment. If you are able i bet that it will cause more problems than worth.
