A have a couple of questions about the attitude that I couldn't get an answer to in the instruction manual.

1. On the Records list, the manual says it will display max egt and max boost. Mine does not display these two values.

2. On the list of Variables that you can display, one of them is "ModTemp". What is this? That also is not mentioned in the instruction manual.

One last question regarding the oj. How much smoke can one expect on power level 4 and low boost fueling on 5? I can't seem to get any smoke on 4/5. I don't want to run it in level 5 until I have money to beef up the tranny.

I will also add that this thing rocks:ro) I can't believe the increase in power.

Do you know what version your monitor is? I think a 1.2 has no records, a 1.4 has records w/egt and boost, and a 1.5 has records w/o egt and boost.

It is version 1.5

Why did they get rid of those?

I dunno, egt/boost are the only ones I care about too. Maybe you should call Edge and ask whats up with that?

Edge was having some problems with those record functions on the Beta LLY units, some worked and some recorded outlandish figures. So the simple fix was to eliminate them. I was up there having mine done with the LLY release flash and asked about why the release version didn't have the records. The programmer said he took them out because he was told to. I talked to the Company President later on, and he said there wasn't much demand for that function so they dropped it. I asked about putting it back in and was told if there was enough demand to justify it, Edge would put those functions back in. This was all in regard to the LLY units, but I suspect it's worked it's way into all of them now judging by Max's comment.

So since I was one of the LLY Beta testers, my Attitude still has the Beta release software with the records functions. It's worked okay, but I had the funky read outs the other day on it too. Cleared the memory and things are back to normal, but I suspect it's only a matter of time before my gives up the ghost on those records sections as well.
