who makes this size tire? I looked at the BFG A/T but were kinda pricey $870 for 4. I'd perfer to stay away from a Mud-terrain, but like the square shoulder look of the BFG A/T's

I looked at both tirerack.com and tires.com didn't really see any other brands except the goodyear MTR. I didn't know if there were any other brands. Most of those sites only list what is availible in a warerhouse nearest to your location.

Ok, where is Homeworth?

I'm close to Mansfield and my local tire shop sells them around $185+ range.

I paid $170 2 summers ago.

I can give u the # if u want to call them.

They are great to deal w/ and no ? road hazzard warranty.

Homeworth is near Canton, OH I just wanted to get an idea if they were out of line for the price.

I'm with ya Prophet. I'd like to see the Mic M/S and the Toyo in 265/70R-17's as well. I guess they don't make them, yet? I thought that Ferd 01's and up 1/2 ton's had 17" rims?

Burner,

the 265/70R17 is available but not with the right load rating:

P265/70R17 113S - 2305 lbs

It is available from Toyo as well as Michelin

That's what I ment. I should have looked at the Dodge trucks on the way home. The OEM tire is 17" for the 3/4 and 1 ton trucks, I wonder what they run?

The Ram Power Wagon has LT285/70R17 C BFG All Terrain tires, the 2500 / 3500 SRW run LT265/70R17 E tires on 17"x7.5" or 17"x8" wheels.
