might be a stupid ? but i have found some good pricing on 4x4 duallys but i dont realy need it and dont like the look of it how hard is it to make it a normal truck axels and flaires what needs to be done

I guess you could get a new bed or bed sides. I don't know if you can just run 8 lug rims on a dually rear end or not, you would have to take the spacers off of the front to run normal 8lug wheels and not look funny.... I don't know if it would be worth it or not IMO..

Doing that would have expensive parts, and very labor intensive. Pain in the butt, i dont think youd save any money.

I looked at the other way. I think it's 4 new wheels, ditch the front spacers, and replace the bed, but I might be wrong so don't quote me. I'd hold out and find the right truck though instead.

just unbolt front spacers and replace cover differential nut and buy four new wheels and a bed rear axles are the same for a 2500 and 3500 the front is only the spacers and the lugs for the spacer are a little different but will still work

yea aint there a guy on here that has a yukon he put a duramax in from a dually donor truck and used the dually axle from it?

"boise biker", i don't recall if he used the rear axel on his swap or not.

the bed is probably the biggest issue.
