Gents,
I took a one night course on Durmax Diesel Diagnostics and manual came with this course. In this manual it stated that the Intake Air Heater was eliminated in 2004 and 2005 year LLYs. The manual also stated that it reappeared in 2006 LLY and LBZ.
Is it true that my 2004.5 lly does not have an intake air heater? It seams plausable because my LLY is slow to warm up and my Fathers LBZ warms up much faster than my LLY in cold weather. We tested this in about 20deg wether a couple of days ago. The LBZ was warmer much faster.
I also thought that I might have an intake heater with different programming than the LBZ. My idea was that the LLY doesn't run the intake heater as long as in the LBZ does.
What do you guys think??
