I am looking to buy myself a set of gauges and pillar for a christmas present. I need advice from those who run gauges. Which ones out there are the best bang for the buck? Also do they all have background/night lighting? I was thinking ones with blue night lights. It is a bit unclear on the carious websites, anyone know of a good vendor? Thanks.

Diesel Manor has good gauge packages. Good prices and great instructions.
Kennedy has a pkg with pillar and gauges.

Isspros are pretty good imo

Check out the Autometer UltraLite II. It has a white face but when lit up, instead of turning green or blue it turns black with white markings, and matches the factory gauges. They all come in a full sweep version.

US Diesel Parts talk to Rob. Check out the Dipricol optix. LED backlit they look real nice.

Check out RPM outlet. I'm running a set of their Stewart Warner gauges. You can see the pics in my garage. They have everything you need for the install and the A-pillar mount is included. Very easy to follow instructions. I'm not really that mechanically inclined and I did it all myself. The price was $189.95 plus your shipping best I can recall.
