I have Autometer Phantom guages and occasionally the pyro sticks. Any Idea what could be causing this? It looks like all my connections are good. Do these guages sometimes go bad?:(

I had problems with the Autometer Sport Comp pyro in my Dodge. It had moisture behind the glass and would also stick sometimes. I got them from Summit Racing and they replaced them with problem. I would call whoever you bought them from and talk to them.

Condensation build up behind the glass sometimes causes the needle to stick/malfunction. If your truck is prone to experiencing drastic climate changes (55-70*day, 20's night) you might be better off ordering the liquid-filled gauges. The oil inside the gauge ensures that no condensation will get in.

I had a dud Autometer Pyro gauge right out of the box. First drive after install it hit 1600deg for about ten minutes, then worked only intermittently. The auto parts place just gave me a complete replacement, gauge and probe. No problems since.
