I love my Attitude monitor but has anyone else had it freeze on them? The display is frozen. I can't change the level or anything else for that matter. Thanks, Nick

Mine has froze a couple times. I've got the next Trippin mount and have had my Nextel phone on the sunvisor next to it. Your right there's nothing to do until you shut the truck down and restart the Edge. Here's a search on the topic http://dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7463&highlight=Nextel, maybe you go a cell phone too close to the Edge. You might also hear a little "beep" coming from the Edge also when it freezes. Just an idea to narrow it down to what is causing the problem.

No not yet. I'll be giving them a call tomorrow. FWIW it seems to work alright now. Got a little worried when I went to pass and couldn't jump from level 2 to level 5. With these big meats and stock gearing I need all the passing power I can get.

All LCD displays will have this problem. " liquid crystal displays" have an inherent problem with extreme cold and heat. I use to have a Passport Radar detector, that had a LCD, and it would black out in extreme temps. In the cold, there would be no display at all. The crystals cannot function at extreme temps.

This I understand. The thing is, the cab of the truck was all warm and toasty. It happened twice today. I checked all connections too. Hmm. Nick

This is just a thought. What kind of EMF(electro-magnetic force) are the cell phones really putting out? If they affect an LCD display, what are they doing to our cranials?
I was reading about the recent Sprint take over of Nextel and the technology differences between the two. The Sprint is a high speed digital system , where the Nextel is an older type system. The Nextels' are a 2-way radio type tx-rx systems. Are they affecting us in a way that we don't know or what? Not wanting to set something off, but anybody have an answer in this area?
