Afternoon folks... first time posting, 6 mos lurking.I'll be in the market for a DURAMAX at the end of November. I pariticipated in EDMUNDS,KBB and COSTCO Internet pricing.
A COSTCO/GMC INTERNET REP. had mention now is the time to by. he stated that GM has STOP it diesel production till 2004 FEBRUARY.

Is there any truth too it. I want to ensure that i have that BEAST is on the driveway day of THANKSGIVING DAY.

Those sites did that when the 2001's came out. It was BS then.

Hear the same thing from carsdirect.com...units will be constrained over the next few months.

When I ordered my D/Max Dec.1, 2001- I was told that the factory took a 2 week break at Christmas. Truck came in Valentines Day 2002. Just about 10 weeks. ( the longest 10 weeks of my life.)
