I looked and looked for specifics but could not find so have to ask.....

For those running BFG AT 265/75 on 16X8 rims, what tire pressure are you running to "minimize uneven wear but ensure decent milage?" I just put them on yesterday an man I love the look!!!! currently running 45 psi in front and 40 psi in rear. definately ride better than stock but hard to compare the ride when you have stock tires are 65 psi ... boing boing boing going down the road (maine has CRAPPY roads)

So chiome in with your experience on these tires and have a VERY safe happy and of course proseperous New Year. (we gotta pay for these babies some how):h )

I just wore out a set and putting on a new set
when I get back to Phx. But mine are on stock wheels. I ran them at 50 lbs. and they have real good wear patterns on them. Got close to 60 k. on them.

Thats not enough air(my opinion).Think you shouldn't run less than 65 in the front and 55 in the rear when you running empty.

I run Michelin's in 265/75-16. I contacted Michelin and got the load/inflation table for the tires and weighed the truck. The minimum pressure they recommend running in these is 50 PSI. At that pressure each tire can handle 2470 pounds (4940 per axle). This is more than enough to carry the weight of the front end unloaded.

To account for the occasional modest load without having to adjust tire pressure, I run them at 55 PSI. At 55 PSI they'll carry 2625 pounds (5250 per axle).
