i read an article i found on the 6.9/7.3 IDI forum about cavitation and the need for system coolant additives, especially for the 7.3 idi.
does anyone know if that is an issue with the 6.2 engine as well?

The 6.2 is'nt prone to cavitation problems....at least I don't think so.The IH ford 6.9 diesel were really good engines.It was the 7.3 ford IDI that had the cavitation issue.
