Well, I've had my LBZ for a few months and I've been itching with a desire to tear into the motor and figure everything out. Well, that might get too expensive and impractical so I decided to get a project truck. Here is my 91 Suburban v1500 6.2 w/ dealer installed banks sidewinder turbo. I've ordered Custom Leaf springs from Alcan and the rest of the necessary goodies to lift it 6 inches and put 35" tires underneath. I still have about two weeks left on my deployment but when I get home, my son and I are going to get busy lifting this thing and maybe rebuilding the motor next winter.

Need some service manuals? I have a left over set from my '89 sub that I sold several years back. I believe that the changes between the 2 years were minimal.

I built a dmax suburban at home. if you start out with the right parts it is not that bad. bosiebiker even built one out in his yard.
Sold my burb and may have to build a 1/2 ton yukon dmax, if i come across the right stuff at the right price! :)
