What's your definition of decent mileage? It won't hit 25 but 16-17 may be obtainable, mostly determined by the weight of your right foot.

When My truck was stock (before blower and exhaust, headers) I Always ran Midgrade fuel, I filled it with Premium and got 40+ more miles per tank. from then on I always ran premium because of the better milage. If you figure it out in pennies per mile, premium is a better deal. It cost more to fill up, but you'll go farther. which becomes cheaper than buying regular or midgrade.... try it......

You won;t be able to measure any difference in mileage. The people that do have to have had a problem as todays engines are made to closer tolerances and will run fine right out the door.

X2...my wife's Yukon Denali has been really consistent with fuel mileage since it was new. Our 6.0L Vortec-powered Denali gets between 12 and 14 mpg in the city (the variable being traffic density) and 18 mpg on the freeway (70 mph).
