Hey guys got the HB today for Christmas and Im hoping Im just stupid and theres not a problem with the harness. Anyways it came with the diode plug with a female plug on each end. Instructions say plug connector into plug near relays, I dont see one. Anyone have a picture or tell me whats up?

Wrong harness? That looks VERY different than the one I have, but mine is a lot older. The connection for the diode on mine is a short distance (less than 6") away from the relays.

Installed mine two days ago. I thought same as you. You have the right harness. The double female plug goes on driver side . You will have the two OEM plugs left over on that side.Plug them into the double plug he sent you. Just be careful with thr pins in plug!

I have been using the Painless wiring harness which makes the low beams stay on when the high beams are turned on. I also using Piaa's extreme super white bulbs. Does the Kennedy's headlight harness work in the same manner or is it to allow more wattage to the lights to boost the lighting output ?.

It allows for a max voltage setup with a ground for each bank of headlights. The new style diode plugs into the drivers side OEM plugs that are left unplugged because you are using the new plugs from the harness to the headlights. This is what gives you all four lights on and it seals up the all the plugs, the old style harness just left them loose.
Looks like maybe one of J/K's secret discabobulators accidentally fell in the box.

Is the Kennedy Headlight Booster harness better or the same as the Casper harness or Diesel Pro harness ?
