Today, I just replaced the fluid in the front and rear differentials. The rear took 4 quarts and when I put my little finger in the fill hole you could feel the oil. This is what I have read on this forum and appears to be normal. When changing the front I put 2 plus about 1/3 of another quart. The oil started coming back out. I thought I had the tube inserted as far as it wuld go. I was using Amsoil Severe Gear 75/90w. In reading the forums, most have stated that they put approximately 3 quarts in the front. I am a little concerned that I may not have enough in the front. Would like your thoughts.

mine was the same, I put in about 2.5 qts in. it was dripping out slowly when i plugged it up.

Ya, they only hold about 2 qt, just ordering 3 to be on the safe side.
