So, what's the verdict on the Juice with Attitude? Do all the functions work correctly? Are there any problems? How was the install?

They (Edge) recommends the "a la Hoot" location (he gets a commission).

If I actually towed something with my truck, I would look no farther.
The Attitude lets you change levels on the fly so you can turn it up on the flat land, and turn it down in the hills.
It has a variable EGT backdown as well as the normal slip backdown,
You can also turn down the low boost fuel, AKA smoke, to keep from sooting up your trailer so much.
Those are just a few things you might like about it.

I love it. I would have paid double. Worth every dime.


Now if you don't care what your EGT's are, don't care for the extra HP and don't mind changing levels the old fashioned way thing might be different. For me, those are the 3 main points.

I LOVE MY HOT/TUDE SETUP. THE ONLY PROB I HAVE HAD SO FAR IS THE ENGINE TEMP NOT WORKING, AND THE OWNERS MANUAL DOESNT HAVE MUCH DETAIL TO IT. SIMPLE THINGS LIKE TELLING HOW TO CHANGE THE LEVEL SETTINGS ON THE FLY WERENT INCLUDED IN IT. I HAD TO CALL CON TO SEE HOW TO CHANGE THEM. NO BIGGIE I SUPPOSE. i just recieve mine ver. 4.73 direction do not match display. i do not have record option.it also say i can monitor boost(yes),egt(yes),rpm(no),engine load(yes), engin temp(yes),speed(no),throttle position(no),transmission clutch slippage(no),... any help out there??

HMMM DUNNO IF THERE ARE TWO VERSIONS OF THE ATTITUDE OR NOT. SOUNDS LIKE YOU MIGHT HAVE A FAULTY UNIT. DOES IT EVEN GIVE YOU THE CHOICE TO PUT ANY OF THOSE PARAMETERS UP ON THE DISPLAY SCREEN?

That's how mine was set up when I first pluged it in. I think those are the defalt settings Edge puts in. Here's how to change it:

Press the MENU button.
Select DISPLAY
Press ENTER
Select 4 function digital
Press ENTER
You should have a sceen that looks something like this

( )EGT F(Top Left)
( )Eng Temp F(Bottom Left)
( )Boost(Top Right)
( )Load(Bottom Right)
( )Set as Display

Select one of the areas ie (.)EGT F(Top Left)
Press ENTER
You will then get this screen

Select Variable
( ) Boost ( ) Speed
( ) EGT ( ) Thrtl
( ) RPM ( ) TrqLck
( ) Load ( ) Slip
( ) Eng Temp ( ) Backdown
( ) Gear

Select what you want to show up in the Top Left
Press ENTER

Repeat for the other positions then select
( ) Set as Display
Press Enter

It should now display what you want.

juice/attitude has been installed for 4 days now, and all i can say is HOLY SH**. had to turn it down in the rain or use four wheel drive! the only thing is the direction i had to download had in the setup screen (records) but i did not get that on my screen. called edge products. they said if i send it back they can put that in, i guess you have to tell you what that before you order. did any body else have this problem??

Does this unit give you the ability to clear the ECM error codes in case something brakes and you have to take it for warranty work? If not do any others?

NO, IT DOESNT THE PREDATOR DOES AND THERE ARE A FEW OTHERS THAT DO WHAT YOU ARE ASKING. BUT, IT IS EASILY REMOVED FOR WARRANTY WORK.

HAS ANYONE DYNOED WITH THIER ATTITUDE ON LEVEL "0" THEN WITH THE JUICE COMPLETELY REMOVED???? THE REASON I ASK IS BECAUSE I JUST PULLED A HELLVA LOAD WITH MINE ON LEVEL 0 AND THE EGT'S SEEMED TO BE TO HIGHT FOR STOCK AND IT SMOKED SOME AS WELL.

I have, on 0 it was 30hp over stock.
