I have a 2001 2500 hd crew cab. Tonight I went to roll down the passenger front window and nothing happened, I also tried the passenger rear, and the same. I get nothing from the drivers switch or the 2 passenger switches. Every thing else is working properly, the door locks, and power mirror. what could be the possible problem, and of course my warranty just ran out.

Did you happen to push the Window Lock button on the drivers side door pannel?

checked the fuse, there is only 1 fuse for all windows and both driver side windows work just fine.

Cold weather. Last year it got cold enough that the windows froze. As soon as it warmed up windows were fine.

I can't tell where you live, so if you're in the South or where it's hot, disregard. :D

Check your under-hood fuses. There's a few "main bus" fuses, one of them goes to you passenger doors and one goes to the drivers doors....

I live in wisconsin, and it's been about 0 degree's the last few days. but when I press the button down there is no load on the motor at all. Normally I can see the lights dim slightly if the windows are froze closed.

hey guys, I think I might have figured it out. There is no power running to the lock and unlock fuses, in the dash. So I believe it could be one of the relays. I will have to get some tomorrow when the part stores open.

the 01 is not a module like the newer. pop the door pannel and check for power at the motor. Or come into the shop and we can hook up the tech 2 and see if there is a signal from the motor. I will have to say it may be the motors. Patrick

A fubar master switch can cause all windows inop like that. They go out pretty frequently due to getting water/snow in them when rolling the drivers window down.

the windows are fixed. the problem was a bad terminal on the fuse box, going to one of the relay's
