: Best dyno for testing??

I've got several things to test and I'd like to dyno between every change.

I had it all lined up with a dyno close by, but today I found out it was only an inertia dyno.

Should I hold out to test on a load cell? If so why?

Go ahead and use the inertial dyno. If you so desire, you can power-brake the truck on the roller to a pre-determined boost level before starting the recording, although I don't.

I'm a SuperFlow fan; I really like how it performs the test.

Run-to-run repeatability was unreal, and you know I'm kinda picky that way.

I agree with nwpadmax wait for the superflow. Having just been through the training at Mark Huck's shop an inertia dyno is not a good choice for our trucks. Huck's dyno being a bigger load cell unit has 2,500 lbs of inertia and our trucks weigh 7,000 lbs so won't even load the truck to get good number. Hope that helps and you can always come up to huck's he's looking for some test subjects
