Could someone list what information you are able to get from the Predator Diagnostic function on an LLY? I know DTC's and Balance Rates, but what else (RPM's etc...)?

I checked the on-line Predator manual but it doesn't go into specifics either.

I dont think you can get the balance rates. I have one but i have only used it for the codes the computer puts out. I think you can only get the balace rates on a tech II, but i am not a expect.

Went to that site, read the document and now I'm really confused :)

If the Predator reads all those 100+ parameters live time, how do you view them. Do you scroll thru different screens? The manual doesn't go into diagnostics very detailed.

Probably a dumb question, but here it goes.......What's the reason for not leaving it plugged into the OBDII all the time and using the diagnostics mode as "gauges" similar to the Attitude. Seems like the only thing it doesn't monitor would be EGT's.

You can scroll through all that info that you are looking for on various screens and prompts provided with the programmer. Also the instructions will tell you how to do most of that..

Rob, I can see your about killing yourself deciding which power adder to buy, I debated awhile also, just go ahead and get one and you'll probabley end up stacking it anyways( power seems to do that to ya) but the juice has hit a all time low price, so if ya think your eventally going to get it this is the time.

Yea, your right. I'm just waiting until the holidays are over and then I'm gonna make the purchase. I asked Santa for a OBDII scanner but he didn't come through for me :(

I've got my mind made up on the Predator. LLY just has too many LLY issues right now and I don't want to wait them out. Just keeping having questions when I'm in the wating mode:)

The Predator can see basically what the Tech 2 can on the engine data tables. There are a couple of parameters that are goofy, and the screen speed/size/resolution won't match the Tech 2, but at the price/value, it blows the other tuners away...
