I know Kennedy has done some work on his Drivers Side exhaust manifold where the steering shaft is at (seems they crimped the manifold for clearance). I have been thinking about doing the same but my motivation level isnt that high yet. I'm sure there are others that have done some work as well, hopefully they'll chip in.

The port entry to the manifold has no need for any work. The manifold is larger than the head port. The pipes can use some touchup inside.
My welded manifold cracked (as did my turbo exhaust housing) so I replaced it and the driver's side feed pipe with a different unit. Both were ceramic coated inside/out, and the manifold , and turbo exhaust housing was internally massaged. This work required transmission removal, and firewall manipulation, and is not recommended for the average guy. I haven't been back on the dyno since, and also feel that the gains were moderate. If anything. the spool-up is better, and swapping the exhaust housing more than like likely altered the lentgh adjustment on the wastegate. I did gan a couple of psi though, seeing 38 peak after backing down the actuator 2 turns because it felt excessively tight.
I also changed torque converters at the same time to a tighter Suncoast unit. This broke a Cardinal rule (one mod at a time) but was convenient at the time. Definitely like the converter so far...

John, did you see much in EGT reduction with the ceramic coating and the housing modification? I would think the ceramics would help a little....
