played around with mine last night and for about half a second, it would kind of hold in each gear, then off to the next pull really hard, then hold again. when i uploaded the file i said for no de fuel. any ideas? fuel filter? have 6800 on the oem.

is there any way i can get around that? would running it on a lower leven say the 90 have less of an impact?

I don't think so.

My guess is running it on a lower level, yea, you wouldn't feel the defuel as much because you aren't making as much power as you would on a higher level.

If you don't have any fuel upgrades at all, do some timed runs on the different levels and see what one is actually the fastest. Say you have the 225hp Tune in, but your fuel system can't keep up with it..but it CAN keep up with the 160hp Tune and give it all the fuel it needs. You truck will actually be faster and drive better on the 160hp tune.

PM Dan over at PPE and see if there is any way he can hook you up with a defuel option without upgrading all the way to the ET files.

You need to let the transmission learn. Before the PPE trans reset ability my trans took a long long time to smooth out. The defuel gets less as it learns - I also have the transgo jr. which makes for shorter shifts (or so it seems).

i would tune it to 225 and reset the trans and drive for about 50 miles or so. just hangs there for a second or so. im not totally sure that its the trans either. going to to the cat filter thing that guys on here have done before and see if that helps any
