Ok the last couple days there has been some squeak that has been driving me crazy. I'm not sure exactly what it is though. Its coming from between the 3rd door and front door on the drivers side. If I slam the drivers door shut it will go away for a little while but eventually come back. Please help me before I end up in a straight jacket:Insane::help:

I wouldn't think so. The truck is a 04 with 15K miles on it.

Better yet, coat all of your rubber door seals with silicone grease. Don't worry about it rubbing off later, as the seals will soak it up. Be sure to wipe off excess, though. Armorall will work in a pinch. An extra bonus is that the doors will be less apt to freeze shut.

I'm pretty sure its the seals... i have the same problems on mine its the rubber seal being dry squeaking against whatever it hits when the door opens/closes... it wont do it till i dry it off at the carwash once i get home. wont do it wet. only after it all drys. i tried reverse cycology on it. it started i acted like i was getting hose ran back and it did it. so i spit on the seal where it hits and it stopped lol

If it isn't the seals, it could be the door latches. Mine developed an irritating metallic squeak, a little grease on the strikers and catches fixed it right up.
My son's blazer tailgate seals squeak if you don't silicone them.
The two sounds are very different. Good luck.

Which black rubber piece did you remove? Are you referring to the door panel?
