what is the difference between the EFI live V1 and the V2?

V2 can tune up to 221 vehicles (221 ECMs and 221TCMs), V1 can tune 25 controllers (ECMs or TCMs not combined) A full comparison can be found in the document below. JD4440, as for the requirement, you just need the EFI software which can be found on the efilive website. You can get the free version there also to see exactly what you can do. Not much needed as far as a laptop, if that is the question. Windows based and about any computer will handle EFI software. My avatar is a picture of our FlashScan V2 hardware. It looks like and operates like a handheld tuner, except you require a PC or laptop pass-thru connection to download and flash your tunes. In the future pass-thru will not be a requirement, you'll be able to flash standalone. ETA is dependant on black box logging BETA requirements. Internet won't work on it for some reason but I guess it might work. I'd have to get with a computer doctor and see what the problem is. It has been worked on before but wasn't fixed. It has windows 98 on it. | ||
