I just looked over the thread in the "Do-It-Yourself" section for diff and t-case fluid change but that was for a new truck. I was wondering what the best fluids would be for my truck. Would I still use amsoil? I saw "Royal Purple" and it looks like a good product.

Please let me know what you guys think.

Thanks,
Tom

I've used Royal Purple products such as the 15W40 synthetic oil and it seems to work extremely well.I have'nt used the trans fluid or gear lube but in my opinion they sell a wonderful line of products.

AMSOIL is an option. The ATF would be used in the T case.
RP gear lube is questionable. Have you seen the comparative study on the gear lubes? I've posted it several places. Can do so again if need be:)

Any brand fluid is good as long as you change it on a regular basis. Poor maintaince is what gets most failures.

Heath, what fluid goes where? (I'm leaning toward amsoil from research on here)
