when I first fire it up the turbo does a few different tests, you'll hear it if your exhaust isn't stock, everyone always says "whoah, what did your truck just do"?

I've been wondering the same thing. A buddy of mine has an 05 LLY with the edge and 5" exhaust and his does the same thing. It actually makes a sound once he turns it off. I was one of those people with the weird look on their face the first time i heard it. haha

It actually makes a sound once he turns it off. That's probably the turbo spooling down that you're hearing at shutdown.

The reason you can't hear it with a stock exhaust is because it is muffled by the cat and stock muffler.

Well I guess it's time to straight pipe it. :ro)

It's nice having a very quite truck.......sometimes. Althought it does suck that you can't even hear it running from 10 foot away.
