im not sure where to post this or trying to badmouth anyone but i want to know opinions and thoughts. maybe im retarded. thanks for listening :)

my posi in my rear end locked togther somehow. i took it into to get worked on. simple task. NO. took an hour and a half to tell them whats wrong any my number to call me at. then they blow me off while i try to ask about a rental car or a ride home. ok whatever. so i leave and they call me the next day and tell me exactly what i told them. and that thier busy and will have to wait tell they can look at it to order parts. Censored ok so can i have a rental then? well we have a caliviler here for you... im 6'7 255. probually not. finally after 4 hours and me calling them back 3 times i just decide to go there. they locate a truck for me and im on my way. fast forword a week. i get my truck back. yay! not. the drivers side main seal is leaking all over. so i take it back. the first thing out of thier mouth is, did you get it stuck? have you been off-roading it? it was a little dirty from driving up and down the road at my work. but im like whatever. so i leave again. next day call me back and say its fixed. so i go get it and drive off. well when i got out i notice all these scratches. tons of them. i had the truck detailed and buffed a couple days before i took it in so i know they weren't there. deep scratches. all the plastic is scratched up and evertything. and guess what? it still leaks Censored i'll skip the last trip. but when brought up about the scratches i basictly got told to screw myself by the manager and to go somewhere else becouse they were sick of dealing with me. also over 200 miles were put on my truck the 3 times it was there. so i called GM. and they can't do anything about it either except take my complaint and do who knows what with it. like i said im not bad mouthing anyone exept the dealer. ive owned 30+ new GMs and this is how i get treated now i guess. what would you do?

I think there are some direct numbers to some exec's or at least for people who care at GM floating around this fourm. Maybe you can find them by doing a search or someone else will see this and post them here again.

My opinion is you deserve better then this, I would start by finding a new dealer to deal with, one that appreciates you. I took mine to a new dealer this morning, one that has been in my town for years but just opened a new shop last week. He took the time at 6:45am this morning to give me a complete tour of the new shop and introduce me to the diesel mechanic that will be doing the work on my truck. This is the kind of service you deserve and GM should help you find a dealer with that king of attitude. Good Luck,..hopefully you can get a new paint job or at least a touch-up done at their expense.

go ahead and tell everyone where this poor service came from, it might be helpful to someone else.

it was Greg Young in Omaha Nebraska. i tried to take it somewhere but when i brought up that it just got fixed they told me to go back becouse they didn't want to deal with thier problems. i ended up getting the problem solved at Sid Dillion In Blair Nebraska, bout 45 mins from where i am. kinda sucks i have to go that far out of my way to get service. oh well thanks for listening.

Sometimes dealers really stick it to you. I had a show truck... took it in to get the exhaust modified to fit around the front driveshaft after installin a lift. They installed the driveshaft for me. Got the truck home and the next day noticed a big chip/ding in the drivers door. I could see how it was most likely teh guy taking the driveshaft out of the truck, turning and hitting the door with it. After a big stink they finally gave me a check to have it fixed. I had just detailed the truck so I know it didn't happen anywhere else.

It just sucks when crap like that happens... PC knows

I would take the dealership to small claims court for the scratches.

GM is not going to help---but I bet you taking the dealer to court will get noticed.

Best of all--no lawyer.

As far as the leak--go to another dealer.

I've been down that same road before and I have a real hard time dealing with people like that. How can ya be a nice guy when someone's standing there trying to stick it to ya??
