: Anybody Else Running Front Timbrens?

I have Timbren load supports on the front to support my plow's weight. So far they seem like a worthy investment, but I don't hear much from others who use them. I've plowed without them, only to find the T-bars sag, cranked em up, sag, crank em up again. Anyone else using these?

we had them on one of our plow trucks, and then installed a leveling kit. once we installed the kit, there was no need for the timbrens, they never touched, so we took them out. I have a friend who installs alot of them, and they do work good.

That's a future concern of mine. I plan on installing a lift/leveling kit in the spring, but I want to keep the Timbrens to keep the bars from getting beat up. I was thinking I would have to space them down somehow. How do the 2500's hold up after a few years of plowing? My plow is only about 800lbs, I know the 1/2 ton couldn't take it after a while.

my plow weighs 980lbs. it squats my truck only 1 inch. this is my second year with my plow on my personal truck. but i have friends who have plowed for many years and there 2500's have been holding up great.

I have them on mine. Cranked the front end 2 inches and the timbrens still touched. Rode a little rough. Installed the Cognito leveling kit with the Bilsteins, smoothed out the ride decently for a 3/4 ton truck. I have an 8' Snoway plow on mine and it might sag about an inch give or take, so yes, I think it was a decent investment.

I have them, but also just added firestone's new air bag over shock on the front. I wanted them so I had no drop when plowing because I have some monster curbs that my mounts hit. Timbrens worked well, but with the bags I don't think I need them any longer.
