<!--StartFragment -->Is there a way to connect both the Edge EGT and an Autometer EGT gauge to the same probe mounted in the exhaust manifold?

I've done it with an Isspro gauge and it appears to work fine. Not sure about the Autometer. Just note the temps you normally run with just the Autometer and then tap the Edge controller into it and see if they agree with previous readings. Mine were good. The Attitude responds quicker than the analog gauge needle, but they typically agree at a steady load, or as steady as you can possibly try to keep it.

How do you make the connection to the probe?

I tapped the probe wire just before it connects to the Isspro signal conditioner box. One set of wires goes to the box, the other set goes to the Edge module.

Even if it is off because of sharing the signal, for everyday driving I was not concerned as long as both were reasonably in agreement and approximately close to what that were reading with just a single gauge. Like I mentioned before, I believe they are both reading very close to what it was before I paralleled the signal.

I don't have a Isspro signal box or even know what that is :)

Thanks for the info.

lol. It's just an amplifier to move the needle more or less.

Turns out you 'shouldn't' connect 2 to one probe. The voltage is supplied by the probe and it may give a false reading if there are 2 connected.

Works for me. I've heard conflicting ideas and decided to just try it. Works great.

Rides a Raptor and his wife rides a blaster. His name is Mike, and is also on NWBombers.

The pyrometer probe sends out a very small signal, and therefore by splitting it to two devices the signal will be weaker and not as accurate.

I had my guages before I got the EDGE and I just hooked them together and the guage works the same now as it did before. maybe not right but it works and I did talk to EDGE and they said it would be fine.
