i have 285 75 16 bfg mud tires right now and i would like to know if the a/t's will be better in the snow.and D or E rating does it matter.the mud tires do not work well in the snow at all.

A/T's are awesome in the snow. Best A/T grip I've used yet and they wear great.

I had the M/Ts never had a problem in the snow with them. Im getting the new BFG M/T KMII soon and i think they'll be better yet. Look pretty bad ass to.

ATs would be better in the ice and packed snow for sure.

I've had good luck so far with my A/Ts we've had a couple of inches so far and my truck stuck pretty well. My tires are far from new. those new m/ts look pretty awesome though

The A/T's I put 55k miles on we pretty awesome on ice. They didn't do too bad in the snow, but loose/wet snow caused them to load up and would not dig anymore. In the nasty mud, they would do the same. I'm still waiting to test out the KM2's. I'm sure they would be great in all kinds of snow and mud, but I'm waiting to see how they work on ice.
