I have a pulsating front passenger side brake. It doesn't occur until I have almost come to a complete stop. The steering wheel pulsates, the brake pedal feels like it is pushing back at me, not allowing me to apply the brakes and the truck wants to go to the right.

I have replaced both front rotors and pads. The problem still persists.

I am hoping someone with a 2002 Silverado, 2500HD Duramax 4x4, 6.6 Litre or similar has had the same problem and can give me the cure. My neighbour, who is a mechanic cannot figure it out.

it is a dirty wheel speed sensor.

The sensor is part of the wheel hub assembly and must be cleaned, it is activating your ABS thus your symptoms.

There is a TSB from GM on this problem, a reputable GM service department can fix this no problem.

Thanks 403 turbo. I will make a few calls to the GM dealerships. I would really like to correct this problem before the snow comes.
