My fuse went out in my SPA gauge. It is a 250 mA 250 V fuse. Looked at NAPA and Radio Shack for them with no luck. Grainger has a pack of 5 for $18.xx. That's a little steep.
Any help?
Thanks,
Greg

don't know if it will help price wise, but for 12v applications you really don't need the 250v interupt cabability. I would think anything greater that 32v would work fine.

Has this fuse blown before? 1/4 amp isn't very much current, and maybe it's too small. I also questioned why a 250 V fuse for automotive application. Maybe this was the wrong fuse from the start.
Usually, if a fuse blows, it did what it was supposed to and didn't just fail.
Did you buy the gauge from JK? He may be a resource for info.

modified,
I am replacing the original fuse that came in my SPA gauge right from SPA. SPA replaced the gauge for me a few months ago because of some issues I was having with thew EGT and boost reading. Only had the gauge installed for one long trip. Went out the other night to start her since she hadn't been run in 3 weeks and the guage didn't work. It worked when I put it away. I have 14.2 volts at the fuse holder, The filament in the fuse isn't broke, but it looks as it came unattached from one of the ends.
Anyone else have an SPA DG211 gauge that could see if they have the same fuse as I?
I'll drop JK an email.
