Hi,

I bought the Air-Lift bags and I am ready to install. Have a quick question. The instructions talk about removing the spring rubber stop. I looked under the truck and I see the big rubber stop but I cannot see how it is attached. Is it glued on?

Also what is the proper torque for the wheel lugnuts just in case I need to remove the tires??

Thanks

Has 2 integrated bolts (no head)that run through base of stop, look like large rivets. Nuts on other side to take off IIRC. Let me know if you have any problems (I did, required minor grinding of frame seam) and I'll try to help. PM me if needed.

Can't help on the lugs, I crank em by feel.

I highly recommend removing the wheels. You will finish the job quicker if you do. Torque 140.

Rivets holding the stops??

Do I need a hammer to break them off??

Chipper, thanks for the suggestion I will take off the wheels.

Thanks

I had no problem removing the two nuts that hold the rubber bumper. I chose not to remove the tires but I didn't put the side screw on the airbag mount until I bought a 90 degree drive adapter.
