I have a 2002 and I would like to put on a new Magnflow Stainless exhaust, BUT, I have a California truck and it came with a converter installed. I think I would like to have it without a converter. I have heard that it makes no difference if you have one or not, so my questions are these:
1) Can I install an exhaust without the converter? (I understand what Awnold the Governator would say)
2) Will I gain anything not having it?
3) Is there anything I need to modify engine wise?

All you need to do is order a Non-cat exhaust system and it will bolt right up.

I guess my real question is: Will it set codes or start to run badly? I don't want to affect the way it runs, I am very pleased with that!
