For you guys running the H2 wheels with 285 series tires, do you have any rubbing or clearance problems in the wheel wells? I am just wondering, I have a new 07 Silverado Body Style and after looking at these, I may go with the 285 tires on H2 wheels myself. They look like they fit perfect.

KDOGG: Is your rig lifted? I thought guys were saying to crank tbars and cut the plastic on the bumper to fit 'em. What size wheels are you running?

Thanks,

Tim

Check my garage bb12, I have Chrome H2's with 285 Toyo A/T. Basically going to look just like what you're asking about. I have no rub whatsoever, but I do have the Cognito leveling kit....love the setup.
I have tossed around the idea of the 295 Toyo M/T's but not sure if I want to pull the trigger on that tire with all the towing I do. But those sure do look great on BradS's rig. Happy to know I could pull them off with no rub.....

I think the 285s look great! Gives the truck a very clean look. Just got to find some chrome H2s now! :)

Hey Guys , I want to say thanks for all the info on this, I like the looks of the 285 series tires on the H2 wheels, I just bought me a set of these wheels off Ebay, New chrome take offs with 10 miles on the vehicle and I ordered a set of Firestone Destination AT 285/70/17 for them, I read some good reviews on these tires. I had a set of Goodyear Wrangler AT Silent Armor Pro Grade 265/75R/16 with load range "E" on the stock wheels, but after 6 tires and having trouble balancing them they are going back, got them through Tire Rack and not happy about this. I will not deal with them again.

Truck looks great now, and it looked great with those Toyo M/T's as well Ranger22. What did you do to clear those Toyo's before your suspension lift? Did you just crank and cut, or were you running a leveling kit? How much cutting if any to clear those? Did you tow much with those tires? Copter is the only one I know that tows about what I do with those M/T's and I think he's been pretty happy, I am very happy with the A/T's and towing, but those M/T's sure look better and meaner.....

I had only the t-bars cranked and some minimal trimming. The front bumper was gone when I had those tires (I had a Ranchhand), so who knows how it would fit with the bumper on it. I didn't keep the Toyo's for long and no I didn't tow on them. Sorry!
