Haha as long as you get service then what do you use it as a tire stop or play tetris?

A LBZ..:p:, kidding.., not much you can do on the side of the road, other than what has been talked about, maybe some tow straps, can of tire sealer and a compressor to fill em up, maybe some antifreeze, and some fuel conditioner....

Just tire changing stuff, some food bars and water. In winter good to carry blankets or sleeping bag if you are fairly remote in cold country. On-Star and GM travel card. Gets you towed to nearest Chev. dealersip at no cost if worse comes to worse.

code reader.

x 2 on the code reader you could pick one up for around 70 bucks from any auto parts store

the one I got from Napa is a code scout. ~$70. The other one I am interested in is the Scangauge. It not only reads codes it plugs into the data port and can give accurate coolant temps as well as corrected and programable fuel mileage.

Good luck

My LLY never leaves my driveway without a spare fuel filter and all the tools to change it on the side of the road.

ONE time was all it took for me. Chug Chug chug. Pull over, change filter and right back to zoom zoom. :)

Don't forget Fuel additive. You never know what your getting for fuel on the road. Try to fill up at truck stops. They sell more fuel and chances are it wont have water in it.

I carry an extra fuel filter with a water seperator already screwed in to it. no since standing in the cold any longer then you have to!

2X on the fuel filter, fuel additive and tools, add to that a test light w/ a super sharp point to double as an ice pick in case of injector connection failure

One thing not mentioned yet, I printed out all the Code Defs and I keep them in a folder behind the rear seat.
Cheers

If you got a locker, take a FULL size spare. It's much easier than swapping a front tire to the rear!
