Nice........

How much for the lift?????

cognito 10-12" lift with the following options:
-heavy duty 1.5" cognito front swaybar
-optional cv front driveshaft
-dual fox brushed aluminum remote reservoir front shocks (4 front shocks)
-fox rear shocks
-12 billet blue anodized fox shock reservoir clamps
-pinion angle shims
-brake lines
-torsion bar keys
-atlas 9" rear springs
I am keeping the weld in idler pivot assembly and the pitman support, keeping the rear u bolts, also keeping the cognito upper control arms, keeping the allison shifter bracket (just an older gm bracket to for the cv front driveshaft to clear the shifter linkage)

4 chrome kmc 20"x10" rockstar wheels with different centers (threw away those ugly plastic centers they come with)

4 pro comp 38.5x14.50-20 x terrain radials approx. 70% tread left

can provide pics of the parts on the truck now, we are removing the lift the weekend of december 22. lift will be ready for pick up or ship then, prefer pick up. Cash only if picking up, if shipping bank check. no paypal.

$4500 gets it all, possible partial atv trades, we are an atv salvage.

mine was version 2.31, code was 0650 malfunction indicator lamp control circuit, any ideas on that Dan? I don't think it has anything do with the dpf, the dpf codes are programmed out.

figured out my code, nothing to do with the PPE! the PPE does it's job and does eliminate the check engine light. my code is from me messing with my cluster (took it apart and put some playdough over the damn abs/brake lights since they come on with the lift and 4.56 gears) time to find a new cluster.

I also just installed the PPE level 4 " offroad tune" on my "off road" truck with a magnaflow exhaust straight piped.

WOO HOO

I want to go to level 6 but the tranny will probably cave in or explode.

PPE did right by me. They did everything they said they would and I am completely satisfied. I cannot say enough about this company. Great customer service, and this excelerator is awsome.

Dan and Doug are top notch.

Remember order before midnight so you don't forget.

You can get an update with the new levels up to 7 levels. You just need to send it in along with a small fee. From what I hear it is AMAZING....... Talk to Dan he will get you taked care of.

I might just have to add PPE again to my pile.

The lvl 1 and 4 seem to give the best mileage. In my experience the lvl 4 gives the best.

I don't know about any of the race tunes though.

At 30 MPH your spinning tires that are 38.5. Im calling BS. Unless your doing it on ice or a gravel road. While its raining Ok Ill buy that.

I have 37 inch tires. Now dont get me wrong I have a QUAD. I have tried all tunes and at 30 MPH roll cannot get the results your talking.

Must mean Quads are no good. Should of bought a PPE:rolleyes::rolleyes:

The Quadzilla Stealth II on it's highest setting for the LMM's gets you to about 400 rwhp and 800 rwtq or so. Very nice improvement over stock. That PPE race tune he has is closer to 500 rwhp and 1000 rwtq. I'm guessing the extra power makes a difference.... :D

So now I get called names? And I have no life? Im a Troll. HMM

Im just stating my Quad and Lmm with smaller tires will not do this. I have a hard time believing your results.

So if your only response is to start calling people names. Maybe you should step up and prove your results.

Hell Ill go buy a PPE today.

I would like to see it too and I HAVE a PPE, I'm sure that the suncoast makes all the difference in the world to getting the power to the ground.

I haven't tried spinning the tires (too expensive) but this tuner is worth every penny to me. I was getting 15-16 mpg hand calculated as a "on road" truck. Now as a "off road" truck on the same trip I get 18-19 mpg on level 1 at 75 mph. Also I am in Fl and the roads are all flat.

Fire,

I saw your dyno post the other day and was a bit shocked... as we already had one member post up his results of his PPE and his LMM. On LVL 4 alone, his results were 441 hp and 878 torque ... w/ the DPF intact.

http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=194838&highlight=PPE+dyno

Obviously different trucks are gonna produce different power w/ the different tunes, but man that's a big swing. Guess that's where the dyno comes in.

fire0021
12-16-2007, 11:27 PM
honestley i dont think 440 with the dpf could be made with tht tuner on level 4 i know those where the dyno results tht rbp got when they tested there exaust and ppe programer on level 4 tht was with no dpf i made 3 pulls with tht level 5 tune and it made 420-422 on all 3 runs and tq pretty much stayed the same. soo duno theres only one lmm i know of right now tht has made over 500 rwhp and 3 others tht are 496-499 but all with efi tuneing. not saying it cant be with ppe just havent seen it yet

Your PCM must be "dirty" I know PPE's tunes will not load right over other particles left by others, and you will for sure not get the max power / benefits in that case..............

Ummm Im going with the difference in dynos and dyno operators.

Tigeman
12-17-2007, 12:15 AM
So your saying Bartman is full of crap huh?

Perhaps we should point out that a dyno can be made to read however someone wants.

Which works both ways.... could be made to make one tuner show weak #'s or even read way high.

What was your stock #'s? That should be our reference. As 420 on LVL 5 sure seems way low from all the other LMM's I've seen dyno'd. Most I've seen are averaging 420 on lvl 4. And the fact that your tranny is built should def. mean your putting the power to the ground. I'm just wondering if your stock #'s are lower than most. So far 6 of the LMM's I've seen dyno'd are averaging 310 stock. Lowest I've seen was 305 and the highest being 335.

marksrt43
12-17-2007, 01:04 AM
PPE told me that if you have had other programmer type products previously installed in your engine computer (PCM) prior to installing their tuner you may not get the full power output from your truck, since some of the other progammers may not put the PCM back to completely stock even though it says it did...

They said if you think this might have happened you can always go to a GM Dealer and get the truck truely reprogramed back to stock at a GM dealership.

dirrty pcm hugh ? so if i i have the same eact tune in efi its still the tune ? or dirty ecm and no i have nothing to gain or loose by posting false numbers thts why i gave every thing i tested 3 runs. i dont know wht my tuck dynoed stock because with all the tunes i was testing i forgot to run it . but if tht where the case tht my tuck dynoed low then my numbers would be even better then the 496 we hit. i tested on westecs dyno where mcrat and alot of others test there trucks. so if your refering tht we changed our numbers to suit some agenda your wayy offf. i would of change my own numbers to read well over 500 not the honest 496 we put down . jrad pm sent

I don't know about what issues your efi programmer could have caused,

I would say your best bet would be to call PPE and they could maybe help you with your situation...

No no no... I wasn't saying you did that at all. But what I was saying is that maybe your truck's stock #'s are really low. And that maybe that EFI live tune will put most guys well over 500.
