This is my first winter with the LBZ in Michigan, whats the thoughts of using a fuel additive during these cold winter months

Also, this has been discussed thousands of times over the past few years. There's sticky threads at the top of this forum that all contain excellent information. Take a gander at whats already in there. Most people use Stanadyne or Power Services.

A fuel additive is a good idea all the time to add lubricity. One with anti-gelling properties also good for winter, especially where you are. It may not be necessary depending on what kind of fuel you can get your hands on. We have one station with Arctic Diesel. Good to -33F. Plus it gets better mileage than the mix or #1 fuels.
