does anyone know if efi's software be compatible with a mac? i have a macbook pro...anyone ever try?

Check with Twister773. He runs a mac but I believe he is running windows emulation software. I also know hes had a problem or two - check with him if it was related to mac. Im sure he will pipe in.

hut knows all about my mac lol...i do have a program called VMWare Fusion so i have a copy of windows xp on my mac so i can run efi live...i really never have any problems with windows or efi live but everyonce in awhile it will act up...honestly i hate my mac:/

Get a cheap laptop. $299 and be done with it.

No need to have the USB conection drop in the middle of a rewrite. :eek:

where can you get a laptop for $299?

The new Macs can be set up with BootCamp to have a duel boot. Then you can load into a real windows environment and won't have to worry about the connections dropping out.

As for cheap laptops i'm not sure about 300 but Futureshop and Bestbuy have laptops down to 500 so i'd imagine that there are some smaller places or liquidation type stores that would have some cheaper.
