I have an '03 2500 MFG in Canada. How do I find out if there will be any warranty problems down the road. Do I need to talk to a service writer at my local shop or can anyone that works on these wonderful machines fill me in on the proper channels to follow? I have had a couple hard cold morning starts and want to get my ducks in a row before something happens.

I don't know how they decide or who decides but you should talk with the service manager about it. He will then talk with the area manager. They should have an answer for you.

Canadian warranty work just fine in the states, if thats the question??????

from personal experience.

I just talked to my local GMC Service Manager. He stated that there is no difference in warranty coverage. He was stating that since my truck was converted over to American standard by a GM certified dealer there will be no problems. We'll have to wait and see. Thanks again for the info.
