Anyone know if I cut the factory radio antenna one inch , will it still work. Is there a shorter one? Ever since I installed new rimms and tires , it hits the garage header and door when I enter the garage. The scraping noise and tap when it hits the metal door bothers me.

Yes it will still work.......we had the same problem with our other truck and we cut the ant. as well...no problems

LOL don't go buying a CB. My 3' antenna off the topper nails everything, but I bought a spring just for that reason. I know I'll nail it, and the spring makes it so I don't have to worry about it.. too much :)
