oil leaks where the cdr it attatched at the bottom. when i move the cdr it feels pretty loose in. does it just pressure fit into a rubber seal and i just need to replace that rubber seal or could it be something that i need to tighten. this picture points the the rubber seal that leaks.

Nothing you can tighten, the CDR just pops into the grommet in the valve cover. You could take it out, wash everything off real nice, put it all back together and check the operation of the CDR and call it a day.

Check in a few days to see if leaking.

Is what you are seeing now is the accumulation of 340,000 km worth of running, or is this something that just got worse?

i don't think that is s_abercromby's truck in the pic. i recognize the screwdriver from td's or knkreb pics. Ed

ya, i borrowed the photo from the picture thread. i think it is just due to high km. so can i just go and buy one of these grommets to replace this possibly worn out one.
