hi, my dad just bought a 2007 2500hd D/A after giving me his 2003. he wanted more power so we bought im the quadzilla stealth 2 and set it on the 135 setting. now his truck smokes like a freight train. even when pushed to half throttle it will blow a nice cloud out. also when you floor it if you dont push it down gradually it will just pour smoke and doesnt seem too quick. is there any way to clear up this smoke? also truck is stock other than chip. any suggestions will be appreciated. thanks

I'm not familiar with this tuner but I would tray a different setting.

Your smoke issue is in the tuning. Like suggested, Either try a low level setting, or grab a diffrent tuner.

On Edit: Heres a thread reguarding PPE vs. Quad.

If you don't like smoke the PPE will be perfect for you on the 160 tune I have no smoke with normal driving and very little when I step on it.

My Bullydog on performance smoked a little, and on extreme it smoked alot, with stock exhaust. As soon as I didn the turbo back, and a finger stick and blocker, my smoke is all but gone. Its too bad as I love puffin clouds out, but I would reccomend the exhaust anyways and the blocker sure keeps my oil cleaner, I would try this before spending money on another tuner as you should do it anyways. good luck :)
