OK, I know this exhaust thing has been beat to death. But I would like to know if there is anyone that has the MBRP COOL DUALS, and what they really think about them. Thinking about getting a exhaust system and really like the looks of the COOL DUALS. I don't won't alot of noise just a nice deep mellow sound that wont make your head pop. any info would be most helpful.

Thanks for the reply hdpoul, I really like the look, even if they are fake. The extra $ make it a tough decision, but you only go around once. Has anyone have any experience with the ansa silverline products?

I just put mine on this Saturday. They fit great and sound awesome. Just make sure you get some big washers so you can mount the hangers in the kit into the stock holes on the frame. Thanks to Tony for that tip.

yanks8,

Go to our site at www.dieselperformanceparts.com and you can get some sound bites as well as pics and instructions to install them if you would like. Give us a call if you have any questions or need to place an order etc.

You can also go the review section of this site and they have a review of the Duramax duals there you can read about.

I've had mine since last winter and love it. I would spend the extra money and get the duals. A couple friends of mine have bought Dmaxes in the past 6 months and they also bought the MBRP duals because they liked them so much on my truck...... Then they bought the same H2 wheels I have.... Then the same Edge.......

Well I think I have decided on the cool duals. I'm in the process of finding the best price possible. I've found it pays to shop around. Also Thanks to all for the great advice. I love this site. also going to band clamp it all together. May need to remove it some day, so the band clamps sound like the way to go. Thanks again.

Hey bubba, thanks for the reply, I'm 99.9% sure I'll be getting the 304 cool duals. Don't know from where yet. I know it will be no problem installing. Years ago I worked in a Midas shop, have had my share messing with pipe. Would like to make sure that I will have no problem with DRONE. I had a '99 6.0L that had a drone at 1700-1900. Never did really get used to it. I don't mind noise, I can't stand the drone.

Yes Nar, better than the website. Our discounts on the duals are greater than the standard discount will calculate on the site. This is why we ask that those that are interested, call us to get the price on them so we don't violate MAP policies to make the price fit the sites discount prices. John

After further review on my last thread, it should read I CAN'T wait for the big box to arrive. Sorry for the misprint. Don't won't anyone thinking I'm not dedicated. Ha, Ha.

Hey Guys,I just came across the "Cool Duals" and I like them!!!The problem I am contemplating is that I tow a Boat, and am afraid that I might end up with that dreaded Drone while towing.Has anyone towed with this exhaust on their Truck? Thanks![Mike]

Lone Ranger, I installed my Cool Duals last week. I purchased the system from John@ Deisel Performance Shops, GREAT DEAL!! Thanks John. I love the systems looks great, sounds great, and was a fairly easy install. I have not towed with it yet, but I don't think you have anything to worry about. I tried everything to find fault with the system to no avail. Great system I recomend it. Has a nice deep sound. At idle and cruising cab you really can't hear it in the cab, step on it that's when it comes to life. I did not detect any drone with my system.
